ANGEL DI MARIA | PES 2013 STATS | 2013-2014

In his last season at Real Madrid, Di Maria arguably reached the best form of his career. And then, of course, he carried it as well to the 2014 World Cup, where he became one of the best players throughout the tournament. El Fideo's injection of pace, guile and craft is truly brilliant. He's proving his versatility as well by regularly playing as CMF or a number 8 this season, and delivering some great performances there. His passing skills were also improving, especially his LPA, which started to reach insane levels. He has great stamina and energy, capable of giving constant danger to the opposition, and pressuring the back line with high intensity. But overall, he's still far from the technical master that he is in the present day. His vision and understanding of the game hasn't reached its full potential. He's still a dribbling maniac whose main purpose is to get past players and whip in crosses. He still lacks the cutting edge in the final third to yet be considered a decisive player. Also, he offers practically nothing in terms of physical strength, so he wasn't really effective at helping the defensive work of the team.
