Nobody questions Jeremy Menez's talent. He was part of the famous La génération 1987, consisted of future stars such as Karim Benzema, Hatem Ben Arfa, and Samir Nasri. Such a tragic story indeed, that only Benzema capable of extending his career and still able to compete at the highest level beyond the age of 30. As for the other three including Menez, the story wasn't that sweet. Menez probably suffers the most, because his level dropped due to something outside his will. Back in 2015 he suffered a hip injury that forced him out for months, and after that his career seems to just going from bad to worse.
This set represent what he is in his early days at PSG. He was a fast and exciting winger, and very skillful with the ball. He's not yet reaching a technical "maturity" though, and clearly far from a finished article. He eventually reaching a good/decent level at Milan, when his finishing in particular became better. But during this period he was still a bit unpolished yet very promising.
