This is Virgil Van Dijk before knee injury that he suffered midway through 20-21 season. As a whole package, he's absolutely fantastic. In fact I can't recall any other defenders that assert dominance in every defensive situation as well as Van Dijk. He's very good at one-on-one and also in anticipating the attack from opposition. And rarely if ever, makes any mistakes. Such his physical dominance, he's capable of eliminating every player in one-on-one situation. Also his long passes are impressive, makes him a very integral part in Liverpool's build up. Shame though, as this level of quality, only last for only around 3 years which is quite a short time. Yet it's enough to assure his status as one of the all time great.
