For any of you who questioned the stats above and say "is he really that good?". Well I'll answer you straight away: yes, he's that good, and more. The diminutive Frenchman has been a chief conductor and creator for Montpellier for quite some time. As a matter of fact, he's actually one of the best talent that I've seen in Europe for the past few seasons. The way people questioned his ability due to the fact that he's only playing in Ligue 1, for a low quality team, is mind boggling. You have to actually see him play, to get a clearer picture of what he is as a player. If you do see him, you'll witness a series of clever little passes, amazing through balls, slick skills to get away from opponent, and seemingly calm, press resistant ball handling that's amazing to watch. The only thing that seems to be a weakness from this guy is his wastefulness, as he's quite an opportunistic player, and waste a lot of chances while in position to take a shot. Other than that, Savanier is a technically superb player, and one of the most clever and gifted midfielder out in world football.
